How It All Works
First, we will arrange a convenient meeting to discuss your specific needs, diets, allergies and preferences. At that time, we will suggest a plan that will work for you.
After we have agreed on the services, we will create a tailored menu for you and your family.
We will take a look at your kitchen, refrigerator and freezer space, so we can familiarize ourselves with it and figure out a storage configuration that will work best for you.
Before the scheduled cook date, we will shop for your groceries to ensure that they are the freshest available. We will arrive at your home with our own equipment and any necessary pantry items. (spices, oils, etc.)
The Essence Of Thyme will prepare your meals, package, and label them with heating instructions. We will leave them in your refrigerator or freezer, ready to enjoy when you want.
We will make sure that your kitchen is left spotless as if we were never there. The only evidence will be the great aromas of a home-cooked meal.
Grocery Shopping
Need help shopping for the rest of your groceries? While we are shopping for the cook date, we can also shop for your other groceries for $25, plus the cost of the groceries. (Must have list prior to cook date)
Container Costs
Before your initial cook date, we will shop for containers of your choice. Ziploc or Gladware is a good start, but we recommend for Pyrex for long term use. These are yours to keep and the cost will be added to the grocery fees. The Ziploc or Gladware will have to be replaced occasionally. Another option is using recyclable foil packs that can be used to heat your meals in the oven.
Payment Policy
All payments are to be made prior to the cook date. A grocery deposit is required and will be determined depending on the services. We will leave you the receipt and any difference will be collected or credited before the next scheduled cook date. Cash or check made out to The Essence Of Thyme accepted.
